These open bowl centrifuges work great at cleaning any type of oil. The “force settle” contaminants from the oil and allow for reuse of the oil in machines or as fuel. For oil over 5% solids, it’s best to settle the oil first, then run it through the centrifuge. Volvo Aero and Rolls Royce both use this exact centrifuge to clean their cutting/tool fluid.
